Children's Specialized Hospital President And Ceo Addresses Dover Business College Graduates At Commencement Ceremony

Dover Business College welcomed Children’s Specialized Hospital President and CEO Amy Mansue as its Commencement Speaker during the Dover Business College 2010 Commencement Ceremony held Saturday, July 17, 2010. Approximately 570 students from Dover Business College locations in Clifton, NJ, and Dover, NJ, received diplomas in the fields of healthcare, business, and information technology.

Ms. Mansue, a longtime advocate for quality healthcare, was appointed to lead Children’s Specialized Hospital in September 2003. She oversees a skilled team of technicians at the Robert Wood Johnson Health System affiliate, which operates eight sites in New Jersey.

“Ms. Mansue’s dedication to healthcare reform and to improving the lives of those with disabilities is truly inspiring,” said Dover Business College Vice President Catherine Palmer. “Her words provided motivation for our students as they continue on to their own successful careers.”
Ms. Mansue serves on the boards of the New Jersey Hospital Association, the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, the New Brunswick Development Corporation (DEVCO) and the National Association of Children’s Hospitals’ Public Policy Council.

“Don’t be afraid,” Ms. Mansue told the graduates. “In both your personal and professional life you will fail, you will succeed, but know that you will change the world — whether it is defined in the life of one person or an entire generation. You have a chance to make that difference.”
Ms. Mansue holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Welfare and a Master’s degree in Social Work, Planning and Management from the University of Alabama. She is a resident of Hightstown, NJ.
